Dear Servite Family,
Please pray that I receive strength, both spiritually & physically, to have 2 surgeries this year and 2 more surgeries in the coming years, as my Servite son, Troy (Class 2012), moved out of state after undergrad graduation 2016.
My 7 years of living alone has been met with more challenges. Now with 3 forms of joint disease (Lupus, R/A & O/A), w/ low vision issues preventing driving & increased mobility issues, that are recently complicated with 3 recent whiplashes on public paratransit buses which surgery can’t correct.
I pray my sight is surgically, restored this year, and pray to remain strong enough for total knee replacements in the coming years and restore ability to remain independent enough to seek where to serve as guided spiritually, to serve.
Finally, I pray for the strength to serve despite lack of surgical relief for neck injuries.
I pray for help. I need to catch up with 7 years of tasks, despite my efforts.
I ask for prayers to seek the protective mantle of Our Holy Mother Mary in Heaven to restore enough health to serve.
I ask for prayers of forgiveness and pray another opportunity to serve others in gratitude for the restoration to humbly serve again. Amen JMJ
